Julio Cesar was born in St. Clara, Cuba in 1966. he escaped with his family to the United States in 1970, where at the age of six he was offered a scholarship to study at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute. Cesar graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design with a Bachelors in Illustration despite severe color blindness that limits him to a visual range of six colors. Cesar, who's classical influences include Dali, Carravaggio and Bougereau, worked as a newspaper illustrator for six years before entering the fantasy art field. He is currently doing work for such companies as SQP and KASO comics. |
